CARBON       OFFSET

As a family, we have chosen to act on a few things to add to the positive vibe around the world to work together to look after ourselves and our planet. Number One; we will be careful when making our choices when using energy. We have done so for many years and Mijke and Elke are very conscious of the state of our planet and the action it requires to keep our planet diverse and healthy. This relates to use of air-con, turning lights off, short showers etc.

We constantly review our choices regarding food, amounts and regularity of meat and fish, though also new purchases and use of plastics, particularly single used plastics.

Last but not least, we made the decision to offset those large uses of energy we can measure, such as flights and driving long distances, by contributing to a company that uses our contributions to offset carbon emissions. We have chosen to work with wren.co, a young and exciting company that aims to keep this world a beautiful place. This is our choice, we did our own research and made our own decision. There are many ways in which you can contribute, maybe our choices can help you to consider doing something as wel or at least be aware of the issue of carbon emissions.
